Manual focus normal lens made for M-mount rangefinder cameras introduced by Leica in 1968. Leica made four versions of the 50mm f1.4 Summilux that differ in both optical formula and color finishes. This is the third version of the lens referred to as the Type II v2 that incorporated the new optical formula of the second version, but was only available in a black anodized finish. It also had a slightly different design with a ribbed focusing ring instead of a scalloped one. Metal body available in black (11114).
