Staff Notes

There is moderate haze and scratching inside the lens that will slightly affect image quality. There's also minor fungus inside, but that won't affect images. The fungus has been treated with UV light to neutralize it and prevent its spread. Otherwise okay.

Leica 90mm f2.8 Elmarit-R (Type I) (1-Cam) (11229) - Lens

Manual focus telephoto lens made for R-mount 35mm SLR cameras introduced by Leica in 1964. Leica made two versions of this lens. This is the first version that uses Series VII filters and has a multistage built-in lens hood. Lenses after serial number 2809001 use E55 filters and the Elpro 3 close-up attachment instead of the Elpro VIIa. This lens has a 1-Cam mount. 1-Cam lenses have a single sloped cam and are compatible with the SL/SL2 and R-series cameras in stop-down metering mode only. They are not recommended to be used on the R8/R9. Metal body available in black (11229).
