The mechanisms have been cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted as necessary by Camera Revival. It's missing a small piece of leatherette from the bottom of the camera. There's minor coating damage on the viewfinder glass that won't affect use. Otherwise working well! Includes newly-installed light seals.

Details: Leica M2 (Self Timer) (Silver, KOOHW / 10308)

Manual focus M-mount 35mm rangefinder camera introduced by Leica in 1957. It was intended as a lower-cost alternative to the single-stroke M3. At launch, it was available without a self-timer, had an externally manually reset frame counter, a button rewind, and a 0.72x viewfinder with frame lines for 35mm, 50mm, and 90mm lenses. It became very popular due to its wide magnification finder and was known as the "wide-angle" Leica. The M2 experienced many changes over the production period and was given multiple designations to differentiate the models. The deciding factor for the designations was the presence, or lack of, a self-timer. This is the second version of the camera introduced in 1958, and was manufactured with a self-timer. This model has become known in catalogues as the M2S. Another significant change happened in 1958, when the button rewind was changed to a lever akin to the M3. This version with a self-timer was, however, only manufactured with the lever rewind. Metal body available in silver (KOOHW / 10308).
