Manual focus normal lens made for M42 mount SLRs in the Soviet Union starting in 1958. Manufactured by many Soviet factories, including KMZ, Zenit, and Valdai as the standard lens for Soviet SLRs. Early versions are single-coated, and later versions are multi-coated. Based on pre-WWII Carl Zeiss 58mm f2 Biotar designs. Metal body available in black.
