Staff Notes
The shutter mechanisms have been serviced and the rangefinder has been adjusted. The cameras has some haze inside the viewfinder that affects the view slightly but is otherwise in good working condition. The lens has some minor scratches on the rear element that will not affect image quality. The aperture blades have some wear but move as intended. The black coating on the inner walls of the lens have some wear (Schneideritis), this will not affect image quality.

Manual focus 35mm rangefinder camera released by Voigtländer in 1950. It was the first rangefinder to have a built-in leaf shutter. It has a self-timer, a PC flash connection that will sync at all speeds, a film reminder, and a tripod socket on the bottom. Two different models were made: Type 127 with or without an accessory shoe and a Compur rapid or synchro Compur shutter and Type 128 with a rapid lever film advance and a Compur rapid or synchro Compur shutter. Metal body available in silver.
