The mechanisms have been cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted as needed. The light meter contacts have been cleaned and tested with a V394 battery. The polarity is + towards the battery cap in this unit. The self timer does not work. Includes newly-installed light seals.

Manual focus M42 mount 35mm SLR camera released by Asahi Pentax in 1971. This camera was released alongside the SMC line of lenses and was the first Spotmatic to include a hot shoe for flash. It was made to use a 1.3V PX-400 mercury battery for the light meter. Metal body available in black & silver.
