The shutter and film advance mechanisms have been cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted as necessary. The viewfinder & rangefinder have been cleaned and adjusted. The lens' focus mechanism has been cleaned and lubricated and the inner elements have been cleaned.

The camera is in excellent condition and only needed service due to sitting unused for a long period of time. A strap is included, but was left inside the original packaging to preserve it as much as possible. See the photos, it's wrapped in paper.

Manual focus M mount 35mm rangefinder camera released by Leica in 1979. This special edition M4-2 was released (alongside an R3/50mm f1.4 Summilux kit) to celebrate what would have been Oskar Barnack's 100th birthday. 1000 cameras were made and each was sold alongside a matching gold 50mm f1.4 Summilux lens. There is a replica of Oskar Barnack's signature on the top plate. The bodies were made in Canada and are otherwise identical to a standard M4-2. Metal body available in brass with 24 Karat gold plating.
