To keep photography gear in active use and support a circular economy, we focus on photography equipment with strong second-life potential. As a result, we do not purchase the following:
Vintage video & outdated formats
- VHS, Betamax, MiniDV, 8mm, Super 8
- APS, 126, 127, Rapid film, etc.
Low-value digital gear
- Very old DSLRs / compact cameras without battery or charger (e.g. Canon 350D, Nikon D40)
Condition issues
- Mouldy, sticky, heavily dirty, or DIY-repaired equipment
Limited resale demand cameras
- Fixed-lens cameras with selenium meters
- Folder cameras without rangefinder
Oversized equipment
- Items larger than 50 × 50 × 50 cm (20 × 20 × 20 in)
- Studio gear, large tripods, enlargers — please check first if unsure)
Generic or low-demand accessories
- Common filters, straps, single batteries/chargers
- Third-party film-era flashes (e.g. Vivitar, Soligor, etc.)
Other items we don’t accept
- Most bags and cases (unless clearly high-end or desirable)
- Tripods (except carbon fiber or modern wooden models)
- Drones and gimbals
