Certified: Tested & inspected with special tools and machinery, found to be working correctly (or unused in original packaging). Any flaws present will be noted and will not affect typical use.

There's minor haze and minor fungus inside that won't affect image quality. The fungus has been treated with UV light to neutralize it and prevent its spread. It shows moderate external wear but otherwise works well! This is a later version, after Zeiss lost the rights to the Tessar name.

Manual focus standard lens made for Exakta mount SLR cameras by Carl Zeiss Jena. Made for the export market, where using names like Carl Zeiss or Tessar was tricky with one factory in East Germany and one in West Germany. Various names are available, like "Aus Jena" or "Carl Zeiss Jena T". Has a built-in aperture stop-down mechanism. Metal body available in silver or black.
