Manual focus wide-angle lens made for Hasselblad V series 120 SLRs by Carl Zeiss starting in 1982. This updated design includes a Prontor CF shutter and a smaller & lighter lens barrel than the previous 40mm C lens. It also uses a floating lens design (FLE) that improves image quality at close distances. This is achieved by rotating a second focus ring on the lens to adjust the air space between the front group (elements 1 and 2) and the rest of the system. The ring has three settings: ∞ - 2m, 2m - 0.9m, and 0.9m - 0.5 m. It is usually found with an accessory adapter (40693). Metal body available in black.
