Manual focus M-mount 35mm rangefinder camera introduced by Leica in 1989. This is a special edition of the Leica M6 made to commemorate the 150th birthday of photography and the 75th birthday of Leica photography. It was made in a small batch of 1250 units and sold together with a matching 50mm f2 Summilux. The M6 is similar to the M4-P but adds through-the-lens metering. The top cover was changed to a zinc casting, making the M6 stronger than the previous M-series cameras. Like the M4-P, the M6 has a 0.72x viewfinder with framelines for 28/90mm, 35/135mm, and 50/75mm. The 10450 code is for the body and lens together. Metal body available in platinum (10450).
