Manual focus F-mount 35mm SLR camera released by Nikon in 1959. It was one of the most advanced cameras of its day with features like interchangeable prisms and focusing screens, depth-of-field preview button, mirror lock-up capability, single-stroke ratcheted film advance lever, and a titanium-foil focal plane shutter. Slightly different changes in design were made over the years of production. This is the version with an unmetered prism, often referred to as a "plain prism" Nikon F. The original price ($233 USD in 1963) is the equivalent of around 2200 Euros in 2026. Metal body available in silver and black.
