Staff Notes

The mechanisms have been cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted as necessary. The lens has been opened and cleaned, but some haze remains inside that won't affect use. There are also some scratches on the front element that won't affect use, either. Otherwise working well!

Hasselblad 50mm f4 Distagon T* C (Black, 20044) - Lens

Manual focus wide-angle lens made for the V-system medium format SLR cameras by Carl Zeiss for Hasselblad, introduced in 1972, now with T* multicoating. It was originally made to fill the gap between the 38mm Biogon and the 80mm Planar. It has a 28mm equivalent focal length and uses Series 63 filters held in place by a retaining ring. Metal body available in black (black barrel lenses were introduced in 1973 (a year after T* coatings), so a few silver "T*" lenses were made in early productions).
