This is a brass barrel version. There are many scratches on the front element that will affect image quality. The aperture mechanism is a bit oily but works well. It's worn externally.

Details: Leica 5cm f2 Summar

Manual focus collapsible normal lens made for M39 rangefinder cameras by Leica starting in 1932. Made with a focusing scale either in feet or meters. About 127,000 copies were made from 1932 to 1940, some with brass lens barrels and some with aluminum. Metal body available in silver.
