The mechanisms have been cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted as necessary. The inner elements have been cleaned. In good condition & working well!

This lens has been modified to have ROM contacts. Unlike factory ROM lenses, though, it has the 2nd cam as well. So this lens has the 2nd cam, 3rd cam, and ROM contacts. It should work normally on all R cameras.

Leica 180mm f3.4 APO-Telyt-R (Type II) (3-Cam) (11242) - Lens

Manual focus telephoto lens made for R-mount 35mm SLR cameras introduced by Leica in 1975. Leica made two versions of this lens. This is the second version that uses E60 screw-in filters. On the first version (below serial number 2947024), the filter mount accepted Series 7.5 drop-in filters held in place by ring 14222. The two versions are otherwise identical. It has a built-in lens hood and a 14-degree angle of view. The APO-Telyt-R is part of a series of special E.S.R. (extended special range) lenses developed by Leitz Canada that outperform any previous telephoto lens with its high refracting optical glass. The lens was originally developed in the early 1970s as part of a U.S. Navy camera program but became commercially available in 1975. This lens has a 3-Cam mount. 3-Cam lenses have two sloped cams and a third stepped cam and are compatible with all Leicaflex and R-series cameras. Metal body available in black (11242).
