Leica M6 TTL (Die Letzten 999 M6) (0.85x) (Silver, 10545) - Camera

Manual focus M-mount 35mm rangefinder camera introduced by Leica in 2003. This is a special edition of the camera made to commemorate the legacy of the M6 TTL. These are the last 999 M6 TTL cameras that left the factory in Solms. They have "LEICA M6 1984 - 2002" printed on the top with special serial numbers of the form 001/999. The M6 TTL introduced a new hot shoe, an auxiliary photocell for dedicated flash photography, and a larger shutter speed dial positioned further forward for improved ergonomics. It is otherwise similar to the original M6 from 1984. At launch, it was available in two configurations: a 0.72x viewfinder (framelines for 28/90mm, 35/135mm, and 50/75mm) and a 0.85x viewfinder (framelines for 35/135mm, 50/75mm, and 90mm). This special edition was available with 0.58x or 0.85x viewfinder configurations: Metal body available in silver (10545).
