Autofucs telephoto lens made for F-mount (D)SLR cameras introduced by Nikon in September 1992. The letter ‘I’ in AF-I indicates that the lens has an internal motor. This was the first generation AF motor built into the lens rather than the body which enabled faster autofocusing. Metal body available in black.
