Manual focus 120 folding camera released by Welta in the 1930s. A folding camera made in pre-war Germany. Has a rangefinder coupled to a knob-driven focusing rail. The focus distance is indicated with a dial in front of the lens itself. Was made in both 6x4.5, 6x6, and 6x9. All in 120. The camera was originally released in a 6x4.5 format in a black enamel finish (Weltur I). Frame masks for 6x4.5 were made for both the 6x6 and 6x9 version. The camera was made with multiple combinations of lenses and shutters across the different format versions. Metal body available in chrome.

  • Lens: Schneider Xenar/Radionar, Carl Zeiss Tessar, Steinheil Cassar, Meyer Trioplan 7.5cm f2.8/f2.9/f3.5 (10.5cm f3.8 or 10.5cm f4.5 for the 6x9 version (also seen with a Leitz Elmar lens))
  • Minimum focus distance: ~1m
  • Shutter: Compur or Compur-Rapid, 1s - 1/250s (Compur), 1/400 (Compur-Rapid)
  • Size: 140 x 105 x 45mm (6x6 and 6x4.5), 180 x 110 x 45mm (6x9)
