The Contax T2 is a 35mm, automatic & electronically controlled manual focus compact camera with fixed 38mm f2.8 retractable Carl Zeiss T* lens. It requires a battery for all operations which include a built-in LED display light meter and a shutter with a maximum speed of 1/500th of a second. Shutter speeds can be selected manually or automatically, and the aperture is set manually by the user.
