Manual focus wide-angle lens made for OM-mount SLR cameras by Olympus starting in 1972. It was the fastest 24mm lens available at the time of its release and uses a floating elements close focus correction mechanism to reduce aberrations. Early models of the lens have a "J" written on the nameplate while newer models do not. Multicoating was introduced in ~1978. Some models may have been multicoating without "MC" written on the lens. Metal body available in black.
