Leica Leicameter MR (14210) - Accessory

Shoe-mounted light meter made for M mount 35mm rangefinders by Leica. Unlike older Leicameters, this model uses a CdS electronic cell. Like older Leicameters, it is compatible with the M3, M2, M1, and the various M4 models. It's recommended to use the newer MR-4 (14217 / 14218) for M4 models, though, because the on/off switch for this original MR may interfere with the rewind knob of the M4. It couples to the shutter speed dial to give the experience of a coupled meter. It has high and low settings and is meant to be used with a 1.35v PX625 battery. Metal and plastic body available in black.
