Manual focus 35mm MD-mount SLR camera released by Minolta in 1966. The shutter and advance mechanisms are mechanical, meaning they function without batteries. The PX625 battery only powers the exposure meter. It was the first camera to feature Minolta's CLC two-cell evaluative metering. It also added open-aperture metering and a TTL light meter compared to previous Minolta cameras. Metal body available in black & silver.
