Details: Nikon 50mm f1.8 Series E

Manual focus normal lens made for F-mount 35mm SLRs by Nikon. It does not have the bunny ear metering prongs but does have the AI ridge and AI-S indent, so it will meter properly on nearly all manual focus Nikon cameras (excluding F, F2, and Nikkormat) and will work with the advanced program modes of later models. Early versions are all black, and later versions have a chrome ring. Metal and plastic body available in black.
