The L-mount is a joint collaboration and partnership between Leica, Panasonic, Sigma, and DJI to produce a unified lens mount. There are full frame and crop sensor cameras available for the system and lenses made by all companies.

Like many modern mirrorless systems, L mount is defined by a wide inner diameter (51.6mm) and short flange distance (20mm) which allow lens designers more freedom to create ultrafast lenses.
