The lens has been opened and cleaned. The focus mechanism has been cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted as necessary. It has a bit of play that won't affect use and is due to age. This lens' M42 mount is just barely within tolerances for German M42 bodies and will not mount on all M42 cameras. For this reason, we've included an M42 to Sony E/FE adapter with which this lens works well!

Manual focus telephoto lens made for M42 35mm SLR cameras by Carl Zeiss Jena starting in 1939. There are some cosmetic variants that retain the same optical and functional design. This is the non-coated version. Metal body available in silver.
