Hasselblad 40mm f4 Distagon T* C

Manual focus wide-angle prime lens made for the Hasselblad V system by Carl Zeiss for Hasselblad first introduced in 1967. This one, with T* coating, was introduced in 1973 and was a significant improvement because of the large front element. The lens was made as an alternative to the SWC with a very similar field of view but with thorough-the-lens viewing. Uses large 104mm filters and hood that bayonets onto the outside of the lens barrel. Has a focus limiter that needs to be pressed to enable close focus. An estimated number of 9000 C and C T* lenses were made. Metal body available in black.
