Leica 135mm f4 Tele-Elmar (Type I) (11851) - Lens

Manual focus telephoto lens made for M-mount rangefinder cameras introduced by Leica in 1965. This is the first version of the lens. It has a removable front lens head to be used with the Visoflex system. Early exaples have a wide heavily knurled focusing ring while later ones have a more fine knurled design. On early examples a black ring is attached around the rear element group that must be removed if the lens is to be used with the Visoflex. The ring was removed on later models.
