Autofocus digital bridge camera released by Nikon in 2004. It was a successor to the Coolpix 5700. It mainly added a more powerful sensor to match its competition from Canon and Konica Minolta. It features an 8x zoom giving the equivalent of a 35-280mm lens on full frame/35mm. Plastic body available in black.
