Model Details

Manual focus full-frame M-mount digital rangefinder camera introduced by Leica in 2022. With the release of the M11, Leica introduced the Maestro III processor as well as a new 60MP BSI CMOS sensor that utilizes Triple Resolution Technology and has an improved special IR/UV cut filter and color filter array for better correction of stray light and color reproduction. The controls on the body have a new arrangement, and the menu structure has been streamlined and are consistent with that of the SL2 and Q2 cameras. It has an improved 3” rear touch LCD, wifi capabilities, and uses SD cards for storage with 64GB of built-in storage. It does not have any I/O ports or video capabilities. The viewfinder has a 0.73x magnification and framelines for 35/135mm, 28/90mm, and 50/75mm. Leica M

Leica’s M mount was introduced in 1953 alongside its first camera, the M3. Despite the rise of the SLR, Leica cameras have continued to succeed as their unique combination of build quality, speed, and discretion sets them apart from competition. The M bayonet mount, and the cameras introduced alongside it, offered (& continue to offer) a number of advantages over SLRs and other rangefinder cameras.

One big advantage is automatic framelines, which react to the lens on the camera to show accurate framelines in the viewfinder. This is even possible with older Leica Thread Mount (LTM) lenses if the correct adapter is used.

Other manufacturers, such as Cosina Voigtländer, Carl Zeiss, Konica, and Minolta, have also produced rangefinder cameras using Leica M mount.
