Manual focus D mount 8mm movie film camera made by Pailard-Bolex released in 1952. Uses 25ft daylight loaded 8mm movie film spools. The camera exposes first half the width of the film, then reverses and exposes the other half for a total of 50ft when processed and cut. Has a double rotating D lens mount. Has an adjustable viewfinder with focal lengths of 12.5mm, 25mm and 36mm and a sliding wide angle prism when using lenses of 6.5mm. Has a shutter button locking- and continuous switch as well as a cable release socket that allows for single-frame exposures. Has a 6.35mm tripod socket. Slight variations in design through manufacturing years from 1952-1958. Mostly a change in the design of control dials. Metal body available in black/chrome.
