The infinity lock has been removed. There's a bit more dust inside than normal but it won't affect image quality. The aperture blades are worn but they work normally. Otherwise working well!

Manual focus normal lens made for M-mount rangefinder cameras introduced by Leica in 1956. Leica made many different versions of the 5cm f2 Summicron that differ in both design and optical formula. This is the second model of the lens. The body changed to a non-collapsible, rigid design with a slightly different optical formula. The number of elements stayed the same, but the shape of the elements in the front two groups had changed slightly. This chrome-plated brass lens is known under multiple product codes, as the codes changed over the years. The lens also became available in black in 1961. This catalog is for the silver version. Metal body available in silver.
