Average Certified condition price
Manual focus normal lens made for M-mount rangefinder cameras introduced by Leica in 1969. Leica made many different versions of the 5cm f2 Summicron that differ in both design and optical formula. This is the third model of the lens. The optical formula changed from 7 elements to 6, and it was advertised as a lightweight version without the infinity lock on the focusing mount. The early examples still have the scalloped focusing ring as seen on the previous versions, but later examples changed to a finer, even knurling. Metal body available in black (11817).
