Autofocus telephoto zoom lens made for F-mount SLR cameras by Nikon starting in 2000. It has Vibration Reduction (VR) and uses Nikon's Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) elements to improve image quality. The autofocus requires a body with a built-in screw focus motor. It has no bunny ear metering prongs but does have the AI ridge and AI-S indent, so it will meter properly on most manual Nikon cameras (excluding F, F2, and Nikkormat models) and will work with the advanced program modes of later models. Plastic body available in black.
