Model Details

Rittreck II-A is a 6x9 single lens reflex camera designed and built by Musashino-Koki Company (now known as Wista) in 1956. It has vertical cloth focal plane shutter with top speed of 1/400s, interchangeable film backs and lenses. There is TLR type focusing tab which extentend the bellows between the front panel. The 6x9 focusing screen is bright fresnel glass with etched frame-lines for 6x7, 6x6 and 4.5x6. The standard lens with the camera was 10.5cm f3.5 Luminant but Musashino Koki also made 13.5cm, 18cm, 21cm, 30cm and 40cm focal lenght lenses for the system. The exported versions of the Rittreck cameras are named as Optika.
