The mechanisms have been cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted as necessary and all functions are working except for the light meter so an external one is recommended.

Details: Pentax Spotmatic SP 500

Manual focus 35mm M42 thread mount SLR made by Pentax in 1971. Virtually identical to the SP, but doesn't have a self-timer. Has 1/1000s shutter speed, just rotate the dial past 1/500th since it is not marked. Uses a 1.3V PX-400 mercury battery for the light meter. Metal body available in silver grey.
